YOUR FIRST VISIT

Your first visit to our office will include a complete oral exam, including evaluation of your gum tissue. It also includes a thorough oral cancer check. Digital X-rays may be taken to complete the diagnosis. You will also discuss your dental concerns with Dr. Sevenich regarding your particular personal dental needs.
ORTHODONTICS (BRACES)
Dr. Sevenich is a member of the American Association of Functional 
Orthodontics(AAFO) and was recently honored with a Fellowship Achievement Award at the Association's Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.. Dr. Sevenich has considerable experience in the use of braces and other appliances in the repositioning of 
improperly positioned teeth and jaws. Braces can improve both the apperance and function of your smile. By the use of various dental devices, or appliances, proper tongue and jaw positions are created that eliminate negative forces on teeth. Using a combination of braces and appliances tends to be more stable and esthetically pleasing. Usually pulling teeth is not necessary to achieve this effect.
CROWNS (CAPS)
A crown (cap) is a replacement for a decayed or weakend tooth. A crown is made of porcelain and/or metal. A crown strengthens and covers the entire portion of the tooth that is normally covered by enamel.
ENDODONTIC THERAPY
This process preserves the tooth by removing the infection in the roots of the tooth, often causing a toothache. The previosuly infected canals of the tooth are filled with a protective material, which helps the tooth reamin in the mouth. Edodontic therapy rids the body of the infection which caused the toothache.
ORAL CONSCIOUS SEDATION TREATMENT
The medicine prescribed to the patient allows a nervous or fearful patient to realx during dental treatment. Choosing to have treatment with oral concious sedation (OCS) allows the patient to complete dental treatment without the stress of past bad dental experiencs interfering with the patient's desire to be dentally healthy, and with little or no memory of treatment.
IMPLANTS
Dental Implants are substitutes for the roots of missing teeth. I
mplants act as a replacement tooth or crown or a set of replacement teeth. Implant patients are of all ages and implants may be the right choice for anyone missing one or more teeth due to injury, disease or decay. Replacing missing teeth is important to your general health and to the health of your other teeth.
